A Strategic Collaboration Toward Quantum Readiness
This publication represents a significant step in advancing industry understanding of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and its impact on enterprise systems — particularly within financial services, where data confidentiality and long-term integrity are paramount.
Working closely with Rob Byrne, Steve Flinter, John Beric, and Bruno Chagas from Mastercard, the PQStation team contributed insights drawn from real-world PQC migration experiences across multiple sectors, including banking, government, and telecommunications.
Key Contributors and Themes
From PQStation and NTU, the whitepaper was co-authored by Prasanna Ravi, Martianus Frederic Ezerman, Anupam Chattopadhyay, and Shivam Bhasin, with each bringing deep expertise in quantum-safe cryptography, secure system integration, and standards-aligned migration planning.
The paper outlines:
The quantum threat landscape and its timeline of impact
Technical and operational frameworks for adopting PQC
Migration strategies suited for financial institutions
Collaborative models between public and private sectors to accelerate readiness
Advancing Global Readiness
This initiative reflects Mastercard’s and PQStation’s shared vision to support global enterprises in understanding and adopting quantum-safe technologies. It also complements Singapore’s national roadmap toward quantum resilience, reinforcing the importance of public-private partnerships in securing the digital economy.
PQStation extends its gratitude to all collaborators involved and looks forward to continuing joint initiatives that strengthen the cybersecurity ecosystem for the Post-Quantum Era.
